| Yoga History In the vast mountains of the Himalayas, the art and philosophy of yoga was born. Yoga - Hatha & Raja The two main divisions of yoga are "hatha" yoga (physical) and "raja" yoga (mental): Hatha yoga gives you an understanding of the body and its ten functional systems. The practice of Hatha yoga will teach you how to support and sustain a high quality of health throughout your years. You will never need fear the aging process. With regular practice, students can find relief from stress, anxiety and common physical ailments. Continuous practice will assist body development of strength, flexibility, and stamina. Raja yoga acquaints you with the levels of the mind, its functions and how the mind affects the body's health and well being.
